Black and Silver Dirndl

A classic dirndl, perfect for Oktoberfest celebrations. The skirt and lining are both made from cotton for a comfortable fit, and the bodice and apron are made with thick satin brocade. The fabric has a silver metallic sheen and pops of red. Trimmed with silver satin pleating.

This dress was sent to me some years ago as a sample, though I did not design it myself. It has been tried on, but never worn.

The bodice is slighly smaller than my mannequin, so I had to hang it for display. For this reason, the apron is pinned on in the photos, but it will be more shapely on a body.
