Natural Specimens on a Field of Blue Dress

This dress has been hand-dyed and embellished with multiple types of custom printing. The bodice is decorated with dyed vintage doilies, stamped with a floral pattern in fabric ink. The lowest tier of the dress is decorated with collage art of natural specimens: plants, insects, feathers, mushrooms, and a curious jackalope. These images are printed onto cotton twill and framed by the lace of vintage doilies. The dress is trimmed in both new and recycled lace for a delicate finish.

This item is made from secondhand materials, and may have small imperfections or signs of previous wear. All used items are cleaned with hypoallergenic detergents before being sent to their new homes.
